location Yalikavak is a traditional Turkish fishing village on the northern coast of the Bodrum Peninsula. Its interesting and diverse landscape includes a busy harbour, sandy beaches, mountains, preserved stone architecture, the sea and tangerine groves. Activities just a short drive away include: Horse riding Boat hire Historic sites, including Ephesus and Pamukkale Bodrum Castle. Yalikavak has numerous bars and some excellent restaurants, which are an ideal place to sample the local culture and particularly seafood dishes. There are a few disco bars, although if you're looking for more active nightlife, Bodrum and some of the neighbouring resorts may appeal.
